Anemia Institute
The Anemia Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to generating and sharing knowledge about anemia as a serious condition - particularly amongst patients and health care professionals dealing with disease and/or treatment related risks factors for anemia.

AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) is the national association committed to improving patient safety in the surgical setting.

ASATT (The American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) The ASATT is recognized as the organization responsible for raising the standards for patient care AND level of Technologist/Technician competence in all areas of Anesthesia.

AST (Association of Surgical Technologists) AST is the only national organization that represents over 55,000 surgical technologists and surgical assistants.

NATA (Network for Advancement of Transfusion Alternatives)
NATA is the Network for Advancement of Transfusion Alternatives. It is an international network of medical practitioners, researchers, and opinion leaders from a wide variety of medical and scientific disciplines who are dedicated to helping their peers learn more about recent advances in blood conservation and transfusion alternatives.

ONTraC
The Ontario Nurse Transfusion Coordinators (ONTraC) Program is a Provincial Blood Conservation Program that attempts to enhance transfusion practice by promoting alternatives to allogenic transfusion in surgical patients, improving patient care and well-being in a cost-effective manner.

Physicians and Nurses for Blood Conservation
Mission: PNBC has established and intends to continue to develop a national network of blood conservation programs that will provide education on, and evaluate the safe and cost-effective use of blood, blood products and available alternatives.

TraQ (Transfusion Quality Management Program)
Vision: The TraQ Program promotes quality improvement among transfusion medicine professionals through timely sharing of education and quality management information related to current practices and guidelines in transfusion medicine. This website includes free viewing of TraQ manuals and multiple educational tools. Users have access to a large resource library, interactive case studies, regulatory information, international and industry news, job postings, events calendar, and information from industry partners. Free registration is required to access TraQ's manuals, case studies, and a few special resources created specifically  for TraQ.

World Health Organization Blood Transfusion Safety
The WHO Blood Transfusion Safety (BTS) team supports the establishment of sustainable of national blood programmes that can ensure the provision of safe, high quality blood and blood products that are accessible to all patients requiring transfusion and their safe and appropriate use.
